If this is not possible, then you will need professional help from service. So, no further forward yet. Dell has not published an approved updated driver & we're a little sketchy on using the generic Intel drivers so what we did was go into the BIOS and change the Put recovery disc in drive and selected option "Repair your computer".

To access the built-in restore you're supposed to hit F8.
